Research Bios
Bill earned his Ph.D. in Anthropology at the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 and worked as an Assistant Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University before joining the THPO. Bill comes to the THPO with more than a decade of experience leading archaeological field research in Florida and Panama and teaching undergraduates how to ethically practice archaeology in the 21st century. Bill has been with the THPO since 2024.
Dave graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in History, and from Texas Tech with a Master's in Anthropology. He has worked on historic and prehistoric archaeological sites in Texas, Ecuador, and Zimbabwe before returning to Florida. Dave has been with the THPO since 2015.
